Genshin Impact 4.6 was released on April 24, 2024, immediately following last day of Phase 2 of Version 4.5!

Keep in mind, as with the previous version updates, a server maintenance that usually takes up to 6-7 hours from the server reset takes place, before Travelers can play Version 4.6!

Version 4.6 Developers Discussion 04/10

HoYoVerse recently released the Dev Discussion 04/10, which contains further improvement on the Treasure Compass, Serenitea Pot and Furnishing Crafting, adjustments to the Quest Menu, Co-Op Mode, and other Quality-of-Life adjustments!

Treasure Compass Optimizations

After Version 4.6, when players use the Treasure Compass and detect a Treasure Chest, a Treasure Chest icon will appear on the map and be automatically tracked!

The cooldown for the Treasure Compass will also refresh after opening a chest, so you can start looking for more chests faster!

Focused Experience Mode for Quests

In Version 4.6, players can turn on Focused Experience Mode for certain quests. This mode prevents characters and scenes to be occupied by other quests, letting you play the current quest uninterrupted!

Other Quest Menu Optimizations

Significant quest items will also be displayed in the Quest Menu for their corresponding quests, such as the Forest Adventure Journal book for the Aranyaka quests!

The Reputation quests will also be marked red to differentiate from other types of quests in the Quest Menu.

New Profile Avatars From World Quests

In Version 4.6, certain World Quests and quest chains will unlock new profile avatars! If you have already completed the required quests, their corresponding avatar will automatically be unlocked after the 4.6 update.

Map Settings and Display Optimizations

A Map Settings interface is also added in Version 4.6, through which players can adjust certain map pins, such as Custom Markers, Domains, and TCG Players, to be hidden or displayed.

Region Screen Optimization

The Region Selection Screen are now made more compact, reducing the need to scroll to go to specific areas.

Co-Op Menu Updates

Players can now see the nicknames they set for their friends in Co-Op Request prompts, the Serenitea Pot, Co-Op Mode, Party Setup, and other interfaces in Version 4.6!

Serenitea Pot Quick Craft and Quick Obtain

There are also many optimizations for the Serenitea Pot, including the Quick Obtain, which lets you see the furnishings you still need to purchase or create for a Furnishing Set or Replica.

Other Serenitea Pot Optimizations

Players can now create up to 10 Furnishings in the Creation Queue of the Furnishing Creation menu! In addition to this, are the following optimizations:

◆	Furnishings and Furnishing Blueprints released from Version 2.8 and before will be discounted.
◆	Increased purchase limit on certain furnishings.
◆	In the music menu for changing Realm music, the display order and required spincrystals are optimized.
