Plume of Purifying Light is a fragment left behind by Khvarena entities that can be retrieved with the help of Sorush. There are a total of 36 Plumes of Purifying Light found in the Girdle of the Sands Desert.

21 | Find the Fravashi Tree underground. The entrance is right beside the nearest Teleport Waypoint. Follow the path to a Hilichurl camp and look for the smaller tunnel path. The residual Pari in this tree will ask for Udumbara Pistils in the Asipattravana Swamp. | |

You can use the Plume of Purifying Light by offering it to the Armita Pool to gain rewards and blessings.
After offering a total of 30 Plume of Purifying Light to the Armita Pool, you can use its blessing to reveal the location of the remaining pieces.
Amrita Pool Location and Rewards
You can only interact with and collect Plumes of Purifying Light by using Sorush, a new gadget added in Version 3.6. Obtain Sorush during the Khvarena of Good and Evil World Quest questline.
Activating this gadget makes your active character switch with Sorush, which allows you to collect Plumes of Purifying Light.
How to Get and Use Sorush Gadget
Some plumes can only be retrieved after gathering the small leaves that it splits into. Follow the trail with Sorush to obtain the whole plume!
Ten of the Plumes of Purifying Light are obtained by completing the Pale Fire quest, which requires you to awaken Residual Pari in Fravashi Trees and complete their quests. This can only be done with Sorush's powers!
