How to Get 4 Star Characters

Like 5-star characters, you can get and pull 4-star characters from the gacha, and this is where you will get the majority of the available 4 stars.

To pull on the gacha, you will need Intertwined Fates or Acquaint Fates to get a chance to pull a 4-star. Primogems can also be used to exchange for either Fates.

Best Wish to Pull

Starter Characters Only from Standard Banner

Unlike other four stars, Amber, Kaeya, and Lisa are only available from the Wanderlist Invocation Standard banner, which means you cannot get these three characters from any other banners.

Other than the Traveler, there are currently three characters that you can get by progressing the main story! You get them all fairly early on, during the first act, so if you're saving your Fates Amber, Kaeya and Lisa are your new best friends.

You can get Barbara for free after completing the Archon Quest, Prologue Act 3: A Long Shot, and reaching Adventure Rank 18.

This feature is permanent and unlocked fairly early in the game, which means that you will naturally get Barbara just by playing!

Free Xiangling from Spiral Abyss 3-3

You can get Xiangling for free after Completing Floor 3-3 in the Spiral Abyss!

Free Collei from Spiral Abyss 4-3

You can get Collei for free after completing Floor 4-3 of the Spiral Abyss! Note that you can only collect a free copy of Collei once, and the Curtain of Leaves event will automatically end after completion.
