Idyia is also the friend to the mage Alice, Klee's mother. In fact, the magical invitation sent to Klee bound to Veluriyam Mirage itself!

A Legendary Oceanid

It is revealed in the final event quest, Dreams and First Encounters, that Idyia's true form is that of an Oceanid. She keeps a human form to seem friendly and also mentions being exiled to the Veluriyam Mirage when the former Hydro Archon had passed away.

Mentioned in Diary Fragments

During the Capturing Light and Shadow quest, the diary fragments of an artist named Guy Verhaecht found all over the cave, mentioned that Idyia is a "...benevolent and powerful Oceanid who's asked to be called Idyia".

In the present, there is a stark contrast between the Idyia introduced during in An Invitation From Afar! quest, and the one mentioned in Guy Verhaecht's diary fragments.
