List of Contents
Location | Wenut Tunnels, Desert of Hadramaveth |
---|
The Setekh Wenut is located underneath the Desert of Hadramaveth within the Wenut Tunnels. You only need to head over to the nearest Teleport Waypoint and head over to the entrance of the Wenut Tunnels.
From the Teleport Waypoint just head straight towards the tunnel entrance then glide down towards the Setekh Wenut Boss!
Desert of Hadramaveth Map Guide
1 | To unlock the Teleport Waypoint nearest to the Setekh Wenut, you need to go to the waypoint in Khaj-Nisut from there navigate towards the Teleport Waypoint. Then glide towards the Setekh Wenut waypoint. |
---|---|
2 | Once you've unlocked the Setekh Wenut waypoint, turn towards the boss by using your mini-map then glide down towards the boss from above! |
When the boss floats and creates large floating Anemo orbs, you will need to take down at least 2 of these bullets with any elements that react with Anemo to bring down the Setekh Wenut from its floating state.
When downed, the boss' elemental resistances based on the elements reacted get lowered. This is your best DPS window, so you should save your damaging combo until this moment! Using a Bow character to easily eliminate these bullets is recommended.
Attacks such as its stationary half-circle cleave are great windows for you to do an extended amount of burst damage before it burrows. Find these timings wisely before using your resources!
Your team must be able to deal heavy bursts of damage in a short amount of time to beat the Setekh Wenut. Teams centered around characters like Ayato and Yoimiya whose damage source is not locked in Elemental Bursts are recommended.

Tighnari | Yae Miko | Fischl | Zhongli |
Ranged teams that can follow-up damage from afar is recommended especially because the boss is highly mobile. When the boss floats, having your ranged characters hit the floating Anemo orbs with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro easily downs it!

Hu Tao Vaporize | |||

Characters whose damage source is spammable are also best to chunk up its HP before the boss burrows again. Although most of these characters are melee, because their major damaging ability is on their Elemental Skill, you won't need to worry about energy!
Alhaitham Hyperbloom | |||
---|---|---|---|
Alhaitham | Nahida | Shinobu | Yelan |
Raiden Hyperbloom | |||
Raiden | Nahida | Traveler (Dendro) | Xingqiu |
Although Dendro cannot react with the bosses' Anemo orbs, Dendro characters and their reactions are enough to burst down the Setekh Wenut even with its overwhelmingly thick resistances.

The Setekh Wenut is weak to any Anemo reactive elements this means that if you attack the Windbite Bullets with Pyro, Electro, Cryo, or Hydro it will trigger the Setekh Wenut's paralyzed state!
This 10-second paralysis gives you a chance to deal as much DMG as possible to defeat it! Proceed to use the same Elemental type as the bow user to cause as much DMG as you can. The boss' Elemental RES to that element will go down significantly in this state.
Are you missing specific characters, or have you not built a full party yet? Teaming up with others from our Co-Op boards is a great way to quickly beat the Setekh Wenut and other bosses.

We recommend having at least one Bow character in the party to make the boss fight easier to deal with. There is a slight chance that the Anemo energy will be low on the ground, but having a bow will make this progress faster.
While floating, the boss charges up five balls of Anemo energy. These are converted heavy Windbite Bullet attacks, with a large Area of Effect, if not immediately destroyed!
A beam of Anemo power will come straight from the Setekh Wenut's mouth and blast towards your character. It switches its attack from vertical to horizontal, so keep an eye out to dodge accordingly.
Another AoE attack from the Seketh Wenut. When the boss rises from the ground, it releases four rounds of three windbite bullets from its back to target your character. It moves in a U-shape before converging at your character's location and deals Anemo DMG.
The Setekh Wenut will charge up on Anemo energy. Then, it releases a blast of Anemo Windbite Bullets towards your character's last location.
After gathering Anemo energy, this Wenut boss will slam itself towards the ground and sweep across your character's last location.
The Setekh Wenut will bury itself in the ground and hide. An AoE ring will appear on the ground before the boss will rise up from the ground and cause Anemo DMG.

Adventurer Handbook Description | |
An eyeless predator that dwells within the depths of the desert and uses sound and vibrations to seek out its prey. They sometimes take on the forms very similar to those of plants, and some say that this is because they were once scions of the lord of plants. Others say that this is their way of fooling their prey to seek fruits or food in their deadly shade. | |
