Charlotte Talents and How to Use

Normal Attack

Normal Attack: Cool-Color Capture

Taking Aim at Targets using Monsieur Verite, her Custom Kamera, Charlotte perfroms up to 3 consecutive attacks, dealing Cryo DMG. Charged Attack: Consumes a fixed amount of Stamina, and after a moment's preparation, will deploy Monsieur Verite to deal AoE Cryo DMG. Arkhe: Pneuma At certain intervals, upon using a Charged Attack, Charlotte will cause a Spiritbreath Thorn to descend and pierce opponents, dealing Pneuma-aligned AoE Cryo DMG.

Normal Attacks

Charlotte's Normal and Charged Attacks use her trusty camera, the Monseiur Verite, as a catalyst to deal damage. Using her Charged Attacks deploys a Pneuma attack at certain intervals.

Elemental Skill

Framing: Freezing Point Composition

Tap: Takes a snapshot using Monsieur Verite, dealing AoE Cryo DMG to opponents in front of her and applying Snappy Silhouette to a maximum of 5 opponents. During this effect's duration, it will deal Cryo DMG to affected opponents at intervals. Hold: Charlotte enters Composition Mode, and during this time, the viewfinder will expand as you hold until you reach a Finisher Frame state. When the hold state ends, Monsieur Verite will deal Cryo DMG to all opponents locked on within the viewfinder, and apply the same Snappy Silhouette as Tap Mode does to them. Composition Mode lasts a maximum of 15s and allows a maximum of 5 opponents to be selected.

Elemental Skill

Charlotte whips out Monseiur Verite to mark opponents and deal Cryo DMG to them. This skill has different effects depending on if it is pressed or held.

Press Mode

Charlotte attacks opponents directly in front of her and deal AoE Cryo DMG while marking a maximum of 5 targets with Snappy Silhouette. Opponents marked will take continuous Cryo DMG at regular intervals, similar to Nahida's!

Hold Mode

Charlotte opens Monseiur Verite's viewfinder and enters manual aiming mode, dealing AoE Cryo DMG to all opponents within the viewfinder's range and marking them with the same effect as the Press Mode.

Letting go of the Skill button after expanding her viewfinder deals increased Cryo DMG to Charlotte's targets. Additionally, the mark on the enemy lasts longer.

Elemental Burst

Still Photo: Comprehensive Confirmation

Condensing ice to create The Steambird's signature, Charlotte creates a Newsflash Field that will deal AoE Cryo DMG and restores HP for all nearby party members based on Charlotte's ATK. Newsflash Field: While the ability is active, Monsieur Verite will deal Cryo DMG at intervals to opponents within its AoE. Will continuously restore HP to active character(s) within its AoE based on Charlotte's ATK.

Elemental Burst

Charlotte restores the HP of her team, then creates a circlular field that deals Cryo DMG to enemies and heals allies within its AoE!

Whenever there's a major case, she's always one of the first people in the vicinity no matter how hard we try to secure the scene. One time, she was even detained as a suspect for half a month, but she was still able to finish her article while in custody... I really do need to find the time to have a formal conversation with her editor about her behavior.
Chiori	One time, Charlotte came into the shop, hoping to do an interview with me. I told her there was no point, because there was nothing new to talk about. But just as she was leaving, a drunkard came stumbling into the shop and started causing trouble. She recorded the whole thing... What a fiasco. I've heard of journalists chasing leads, but now it seems news chases the journalists.
Clorinde	Charlotte is one of the more tactful journalists out there. I don't have anything negative to say about her. Furina	About Furina Lady Furina has a very captivating presence. She was born to be a star. Euphrasie once assigned a journalist to shadow her, but he quit not long into the assignment... From what I've heard, the reason he left was that Furina insisted on seeing every photo he took of her right away, and she'd make him redo it if she wasn't happy with how it turned out. Apparently, she was so picky that the poor guy once had to take 127 shots of her in the same pose before she was content...
Lynette	About Lynette No matter what question you pose to her, Lynette just calmly lowers her eyes with an expressionless look on her face. It's like she's some sort of... clockwork doll. I'm really tempted to write an article titled something like: "The Genius Magician's Puppet Assistant: Magic's Best-Kept Secret"... but I have a sneaking suspicion that even that wouldn't get a reaction out of her.
Lyney	About Lyney Surprise, surprise - Lyney refused an interview with me once again. Do you know how many times that is now? ...Uh, actually, I've lost count. But never mind!
