As a Sub-DPS
A great Cryo Applicator with superb off-field damage and 100% uptime while also being incredibly simple to use, Escoffier is our brand new core member for Freeze teams. While she has a comparable personal damage as an Emilie or Chiori in their best conditions, Escoffier also provides offensive utility and healing that makes her a must-have for Freeze in comparison.
You can also use Escoffier as an off-field Cryo Applicator for Melt or other Cryo reactions. Her playstyle and consistency in uptime is accessible enough to make use of her kit even outside of her intended teams.

As a Support
Has restrictions in having Cryo and Hydro in the team similar to Chevreuse to fully utilize her debuffs. Escoffier does have the benefit of allowing the player to substitute one Cryo or Hydro for another, and while it won't be as effective, it also wouldn't outright disable her RES Shred. She elevates Freeze teams, who are currently underrepresented and way behind our current meta. For players with Ayaka or future Freeze carries, she currently exists as both a niche and a must-have character who enables the team archetype back into relevance. We're conservatively placing her at the top of the S-tier for now until the meta shifts drastically to Cryo.

Escoffier can be built for dealing damage thanks to her RES shred passives, indirectly increasing the amount of damage of every Hydro and Cryo member in the party.

With that in mind, building CRIT with Escoffier becomes an option, but do take note that you still want a comfortable amount of ATK% and Energy Recharge to keep her supportive capabilities enabled.

Escoffier as a Support prioritizes her Elemental Burst's effectiveness with her Elemental Skill only being used for brief Cryo application and particle generation.

Should you wish to focus on her heals, go for more ATK% instead of CRIT as that generally results in more healing. You can also choose to use ATK% Main Stat for the Sands if your Energy is already enough to use it off-cooldown.

Escoffier's general best-in-slot artifact set would be the 4-pc. Golden Troupe that fulfills both her roles as a Sub-DPS and Support, as it offers her the highest personal DMG increase while keeping build flexibility.

If you want to specialize into her Support role however, then utilizing Noblesse Oblige or Tenacity of the Millelith could help her support her team with ATK buffs.

Due to Escoffier's passives being a core fundamental part of her gameplay, her passives are listed here first as they make up a good bulk of her impact in most teams and accounts.

After using the Elemental Burst Scoring Cuts, Escoffier will obtain the Rehab Diet effect for 9s: Restores HP for nearby active characters every 1s based on 138.24% of Escoffier's ATK.

Passive Talent 2

Inspiration-Immersed Seasoning
When there are 1/2/3/4 Hydro or Cryo characters in the party, Escoffier will decrease the Hydro RES and Cryo RES of any opponents hit by her Elemental Skill, Low-Temperature Cooking, or her Elemental Burst, Scoring Cuts, by 5%/10%/15%/55% for 12s.

Reduces Enemy Hydro and Cryo RES

Escoffier excels at amplifying the damage of Freeze teams in particular, as she lowers the Hydro and Cryo RES of opponents whenever she hits them with her Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst.

This RES shred appears to scale with the number of Hydro and Cryo allies she has, with a full Freeze team likely applying the max amount of shred percentage to enemies.

Does Not Need to Freeze Enemies

One thing to note is that Escoffier's RES shred talent works even if the enemy is not Frozen. She only needs to hit them with her abilities while there are one or more Hydro and Cryo members in the party, including her.

Constant Off-the-Cuff Cookery

When using the Hold form of her Elemental Skill Low-Temperature Cooking, Escoffier will activate her All-Spectrum Multi-Use Cooking Mek in its Off-the-Cuff Cookery mode. Cooking Mek: Off-the-Cuff Cookery Mode · Places the Cooking Mek on the field. The Cooking Mek can absorb elemental attacks. When the absorbed elemental energy hits a certain limit, Escoffier can convert the ingredients placed within it into wonderful food. · Escoffier needs time to purchase new ingredients, so she can only make a certain number of dishes like this each week. The number of dishes Escoffier can make resets every Monday at 4:00 AM.

Escoffier's Cooking Passive

Escoffier can trigger her Elemental Skill's alternate mode by holding down the skill button, granting access to a unique cooking passive that only Escoffier herself is capable of right now.

You can generate food by deploying this Cooking Mek and treating it similar to the Parametric Transformer, striking it with Elemental Attacks until it yields either a dish that may be unique from Escoffier or a generic dish.

Limited to 10 Dishes Per Week

This mechanic was balanced out by limiting the food generation ability to 10 times per week, which resets on the same time as every weekly reset in Genshin.

Low-Temperature Cooking

Behold the true meaning of "cooking"! Escoffier will demonstrate different cooking techniques when you Tap or Hold this skill, but rest assured, each of them is Fontaine's pride and joy. Hold Attack: Activates her All-Spectrum Multi-Use Cooking Mek's Off-the-Cuff Cookery Mode. Tap Activates her All-Spectrum Multi-Use Cooking Mek in its Cold Storage mode and deals AoE Cryo DMG to nearby opponents. Cooking Mek: Cold Storage Mode Follows the current active character and fires Frosty Parfaits at nearby opponents at intervals, dealing Cryo DMG. Arkhe - Ousia At intervals, Escoffier will summon a Surging Blade when activating her Cooking Mek in Cold Storage mode, dealing Ousia-aligned AoE Cryo DMG.

Elemental Skill Provides Cryo Application

Tapping Escoffier's Elemental Skill causes her to summon a special cooking mek that follows the active character and shoots opponents with Cryo projectiles, dealing damage and applying Cryo to them.

It is worth noting that if Escoffier is in her intended Freeze team niche, the RES shred from her talent might allow her Elemental Skill to deal considerable damage to the enemies, making her a possible Sub-DPS.

Unique Talent To Cook Food From Nothing

Alternatively, holding her Elemental Skill allows her to put down her cooking mek. The mek must then be hit with Elemental attacks in order to charge up its meter, similar to the Parametric Transformer.

Once this is done, the mek will cook a dish without using any ingredients, making this a good way to always have consumables on the ready. This has a certain limit that resets every week on Mondays.

Elemental Burst

Scoring Cuts
Displaying her exceptional knife skills, Escoffier deals AoE Cryo DMG and restores HP to all nearby party members based on her ATK.

Elemental Burst Heals Allies

Escoffier's Elemental Burst causes her to inflict the area around her with Cryo, dealing damage to any enemies in the area.

However, the real use case of this ability is that it can heal all allies in the party, which allows her to fulfill the role of both a Debuffer and Healer support with her on-demand Burst healing.
