As a Sub-DPS
A great Cryo Applicator with superb off-field damage and 100% uptime while also being incredibly simple to use, Escoffier is our brand new core member for Freeze teams. While she has a comparable personal damage as an Emilie or Chiori in their best conditions, Escoffier also provides offensive utility and healing that makes her a must-have for Freeze in comparison.
You can also use Escoffier as an off-field Cryo Applicator for Melt or other Cryo reactions. Her playstyle and consistency in uptime is accessible enough to make use of her kit even outside of her intended teams.

As a Support
Has restrictions in having Cryo and Hydro in the team similar to Chevreuse to fully utilize her debuffs. Escoffier does have the benefit of allowing the player to substitute one Cryo or Hydro for another, and while it won't be as effective, it also wouldn't outright disable her RES Shred. She elevates Freeze teams, who are currently underrepresented and way behind our current meta. For players with Ayaka or future Freeze carries, she currently exists as both a niche and a must-have character who enables the team archetype back into relevance. We're conservatively placing her at the top of the S-tier for now until the meta shifts drastically to Cryo.

Strengths
• Simple one-button-rules-all playstyle due to her Elemental Skill being her most consistent damage tool with 100% uptime, also making her the best Cryo applicator in the game as of now. • Effective even at low investments due to her RES shred being tied to a passive that only scales with the number of Hydro and Cryo teammates. • Provides good burst healing that scales with ATK. • Elemental Skill has an alternate function that allows her to cook up 4 unique dishes.
Weaknesses
• Essentially glued to Freeze teams as her RES shred's effectiveness drastically goes down if she is placed anywhere else.

Escoffier Sub-DPS or Support Builds

Escoffier can be built as a Sub-DPS with CRIT Stats, or as a RES shred support, focusing on ATK and Energy Recharge for comfortable Elemental Bursts.

As for the rest of her build, Escoffier benefits the most in both roles by utilizing Golden Troupe, but can opt to specialize into Blizzard Strayer as a Freeze DPS, or Noblesse Oblige as a Support.

Escoffier can be built for dealing damage thanks to her RES shred passives, indirectly increasing the amount of damage of every Hydro and Cryo member in the party.

With that in mind, building CRIT with Escoffier becomes an option, but do take note that you still want a comfortable amount of ATK% and Energy Recharge to keep her supportive capabilities enabled.

Escoffier as a Support prioritizes her Elemental Burst's effectiveness with her Elemental Skill only being used for brief Cryo application and particle generation.

Should you wish to focus on her heals, go for more ATK% instead of CRIT as that generally results in more healing. You can also choose to use ATK% Main Stat for the Sands if your Energy is already enough to use it off-cooldown.

Escoffier's general best-in-slot artifact set would be the 4-pc. Golden Troupe that fulfills both her roles as a Sub-DPS and Support, as it offers her the highest personal DMG increase while keeping build flexibility.

If you want to specialize into her Support role however, then utilizing Noblesse Oblige or Tenacity of the Millelith could help her support her team with ATK buffs.

Escoffier can use a wide variety of Polearms depending on her use case, with Support Escoffier utilizing ER or ATK-boosting weapons like Calamity Queller or Favonius Lance, and Sub-DPS Escoffier using weapons like Staff of Homa or Engulfing Lightning.

Narrowing it down, Escoffier's weapon choices will depend entirely on which stats she is lacking from her artifact rolls, so that makes nearly every utility Polearm a good option for her.

Maximizing Escoffier's effectiveness demands putting her in a Freeze team as her RES shred potential is stunted if she is placed anywhere else.

However, that does not fully limit Escoffier's use cases, and she can still be placed into other teams as a general-use Support with shred capabilities for any Hydro or Cryo ally.

Due to Escoffier's passives being a core fundamental part of her gameplay, her passives are listed here first as they make up a good bulk of her impact in most teams and accounts.

After using the Elemental Burst Scoring Cuts, Escoffier will obtain the Rehab Diet effect for 9s: Restores HP for nearby active characters every 1s based on 138.24% of Escoffier's ATK.

Passive Talent 2

Inspiration-Immersed Seasoning
When there are 1/2/3/4 Hydro or Cryo characters in the party, Escoffier will decrease the Hydro RES and Cryo RES of any opponents hit by her Elemental Skill, Low-Temperature Cooking, or her Elemental Burst, Scoring Cuts, by 5%/10%/15%/55% for 12s.

Reduces Enemy Hydro and Cryo RES

Escoffier excels at amplifying the damage of Freeze teams in particular, as she lowers the Hydro and Cryo RES of opponents whenever she hits them with her Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst.

This RES shred appears to scale with the number of Hydro and Cryo allies she has, with a full Freeze team likely applying the max amount of shred percentage to enemies.

Does Not Need to Freeze Enemies

One thing to note is that Escoffier's RES shred talent works even if the enemy is not Frozen. She only needs to hit them with her abilities while there are one or more Hydro and Cryo members in the party, including her.

Escoffier's Cooking Passive

Escoffier can trigger her Elemental Skill's alternate mode by holding down the skill button, granting access to a unique cooking passive that only Escoffier herself is capable of right now.

You can generate food by deploying this Cooking Mek and treating it similar to the Parametric Transformer, striking it with Elemental Attacks until it yields either a dish that may be unique from Escoffier or a generic dish.

Limited to 10 Dishes Per Week

This mechanic was balanced out by limiting the food generation ability to 10 times per week, which resets on the same time as every weekly reset in Genshin.

Elemental Skill Provides Cryo Application

Alternatively, holding her Elemental Skill allows her to put down her cooking mek. The mek must then be hit with Elemental attacks in order to charge up its meter, similar to the Parametric Transformer.

Once this is done, the mek will cook a dish without using any ingredients, making this a good way to always have consumables on the ready. This has a certain limit that resets every week on Mondays.

That gave me a lot to live up to, so I shut myself away to hone my craft. And, well, it seems like I missed a lot of important events in the meantime. Lady Furina doesn't even live in the Palais Mermonia anymore... I don't really understand what happened, but I do know this - Lady Furina will always be the most important benefactor of my life. She only has to say the word, and I would go work as her personal chef in an instant - no compensation necessary!
Lynette	About Lynette You might not know this, but Lynette is actually a member of our Dessert Tea Party. She and her brother were frequent performers at Hotel Debord, so we saw each other quite a bit. In the beginning, she seemed distant and cold, but once I worked up the courage to invite her to the tea party, I realized that her emotions are as rich and varied as a plate of Rainbow A Macarons... When she likes a particular dessert, her ears flutter back and forth. And, if she doesn't like it, her tail droops down, hehe... Wait! Don't tell me my tail does that too...
Navia	About Navia My parents took me to the Hotel Debord for the first time on my fifth birthday. I remember - I found this hat on the ground. It was beautiful and carried the intense, warm aroma of roses. Following that scent, I was able to find the owner, and well... That scent is Navia to a tee - so warm and sweet, and after all these years, not a thing has changed. I invite her over for afternoon tea whenever I have the chance. Every second we spend together is pure delight... Except for the fact that she's still a "the sweeter the dessert, the better" kind of person... But, oh well. You have to pick your battles. And, anyway, taste is personal, I guess...
Sigewinne	About Sigewinne The Head Nurse, huh... Well, um... She's a lovely person, of course. It's just... her sense of taste is, in a word, unique.... Which I completely understand and respect. I've tried my best to explore flavor through her perspective. But, my biggest takeaway was that she could star in an assassin film. Seriously, try her milkshakes sometime — absolutely deadly...
The Knave	About The Knave I've only ever seen her from a distance, and one time at that, but I will never forget it. For a while, I cooked as if she was going to taste every dish. I mean, imagine the consequences of disappointing someone like that... Talk about motivation. It was a great scare tactic for my apprentices as well. All it took was a, "you think you can serve this to Ms. Arlecchino and live to tell the tale?" It's weird, though... Navia seems to think she's not as terrifying as she looks... But I don't know.
Varesa	About Varesa Oh, Varesa? The fruit from her orchard is amazing. Biting into one is like being transported to a lazy summer's day. She could charge me an extra twenty percent, and it would still be worth it! So, I always treat her to a meal after every purchase. Her appetite is astonishing. It may look like she scarfs it all down in one bite, but if you actually talk to her about the food, it's obvious she appreciates the subtle details. In other words, she has the appetite and palate to back it up - I love serving food to people like that!
Wriothesley	About Wriothesley His Grace is polite and steadfast a - true old-school gentleman at heart. Still, eating the food at the Coupon Cafeteria... Now that was a cruel and unusual punishment indeed.
Xiangling	About Xiangling There is a saying in Liyue: "Beyond every mountain lies a higher mountain." But, when it comes to Xiangling and me, it feels more like... I was holed up in a cave and she dragged me into a new world. She uses techniques I've never heard of and chooses ingredients I could never anticipate. Her dishes seem to redefine what I thought was possible - you can't even analyze them within the framework of classical Fontainian cooking. Meeting her has convinced me that staying cooped up in my kitchen isn't the answer - I need to go out and explore what other nations have to offer!
