How to Unlock Mavuika Story Quest

Complete the Prerequisites

	Chapter 5: Act 5 Incandescent Ode of Resurrection

You can unlock Mavuika's Story Quest by completing Chapter 5, Act 5 Archon Quest, Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, and using one Story Key. You must have also reached Adventure Rank 40+ to play her Story Quest!

Story Key Required

A Story Key is usually needed to unlock a Story Quest. Like most characters, Mavuika will need Story Keys to unlock her quest.

To get 1 Story Key, you need to do 8 Daily Commissions and be at Adventure Rank 26. Since there are only 4 Commissions in a day, you will need a minimum of 2 days to get 1 Story Key.

Mavuika's Story Quest Act 1 Walkthrough

After the Peace

	Objectives
1	Following the events from Natlan's resounding victory against the Abyss, return to your accommodation at Weary Inn to rest. While asleep, Citlali visits your dream beckoning you to go to the Speaker's Chamber for something major.
2	At Citlali's behest, go to the Speaker's Chamber, where you spot her together with Mavuika, discussing about the revelation of the Wayob about Xbalanque's impending return. Xbalanque is the first Pyro Archon, and was responsible for the original rules of Natlan concerning its unique Ley Lines.
3	After discussing about Xbalanque and the upcoming Pilgrimage, go to the People of the Springs tribe, where you immediately see Kachina, Mualani, Kinich, and Ajaw fishing by the shore. The group informs the Pyro Archon about their respective tribes' progress in regards to the Pilgrimage, so simply exhaust all dialogues to go to the next step.
4	Afterwards, go to the Masters of the Night-Wind, where you'll spot Citlali again. She'll tell about you about not being able to sleep because of a request from tribe's Chief, so convince her to shake it off and get some rest.
5	Then, teleport to the nearest Statue of the Seven where you can find Ororon and a baby Qucusaur, named Cacucu, standing over a trap he made by himself to capture Xbalanque. Ask Ororon about the trap, as well as his tribe's update about the Pilgrimage. Immediately after, you spot Xilonen camping by the Statue of the Seven, as an attempt to hide from the Pyro Archon.
6	Lastly, head to the Flower-Feather Clan where you'll see Chasca, as well as Iansan, who's been actively helping members of Flower-Feather Clan train for the upcoming Pilgrimage.

A New Pilgrimage

	Objectives
1	Together with Iansan, return to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame to test the competition process. After a few dialogues, you'll be controlling a trial version of Mavuika to complete the obstacle course for Iansan. Simply start the challenge and hold her Elemental Skill, to ride the Flamestrider.
2	After testing the obstacle course, try out the ball launcher with Mavuika. Winning or losing this round won't affect the quest progress in any way, so make sure to simply enjoy the trial bout against the Pyro Archon!
3	Once you've completed the ball relay, dine with Mavuika at the Scions of the Canopy tribe. The diner is located directly below the Tribe's Obsidian Totem, so make your way all the down past the stairs until you spot the place. Afterwards, return to your accommodation and rest.
4	After three days, go to the Stadium with Mavuika on the Pyro Archon's Flamestrider. This is going to be another bout of obstacle course, which should be easy enough to complete.
5	Upon your arrival at the Stadium, and after Mavuika officially commences the Pilgrimage, encourage the contestants all around the perimeter of the stadium. There's no specific order with which you interact with your friends, so simply talk to them one by one by following the marker on your mini map.
6	Report the results to Mavuika afterwards, then watch the match.
7	The Pilgrimage ends up hailing Kinich as its new champion, leaving everyone dumbfounded with Xbalanque's supposed appearance in the event. Eventually, Mavuika spots the first Pyro Archon possessing a child named Mausau.

Hearken, Ye Who Have Returned

	Objectives
1	Head to a quiet place and talk to Xbalanque about what's happening. Exhaust all the dialogue between the former and current Pyro Archons to proceed to the objective.
2	Then, head to the Temple of the Spirit with the two Pyro Archons, and witness their battle. Wait out the cutscene to end, then leave the temple.
3	You'll be teleported to a sandbox area of Natlan, where you'll have to go through another obstacle course riding Mavuika's Flamestrider. Albeit lengthy, the course is extremely simple, and requires you to just avoid simple obstacles to complete!
4	Afterwards, talk to Xbalanque, and bid his spirit farewell. Then, join the post-competition celebration with all of your friends to officially conclude the quest!
