Capturing Anjanath in High Rank will give you a 3% chance of obtaining Anjanath Gem, the highest probability across the board. Aside from this, you may also want to cut-off its tail and break the head.

Carving Anjanath's tail gives you a 3% chance of obtaining the gem, while breaking Anjanath's head will also give a 3% chance of obtaining the Anjanath Gem as a Broken Part Reward after the quest. This effectively gives you the best chance of getting this elusive gem.
