Chances of getting a plate are slightly higher when you capture the monster instead of killing it. Stock up on traps and tranq bombs and make sure to stop when it's limping to capture it!
If you normally run with two Palamutes, it might be best to bring a Palico as sometimes it's hard to see when they're capturable. A Palico buddy will mention it through dialogue, making it a surefire way to determine whether it's capturable or not.
Every little bit helps, and you'll never know if that shiny drop hits the slim chance of being a Magnamalo plate. Make sure to pick up every dropped material!
When you ride another monster and attack the Magnamalo, there tends to be a lot of dropped materials, increasing the chances of getting a Magnamalo Plate.
Breaking parts gives you more chances of getting a plate, so always aim to break parts!
Plates are more likely to drop on High Rank monsters, so if you're really looking for it, fight the HR version of the Magnamalo.

I GOT THE ITEM OYAAAA
More specifically it comes from the target rewards (2%), capture rewards (3%), head broken part rewards (3%), carves (1%), and drop materials (1%) from Magnamalo. From the Japanese version of Game8: https://game8.jp/mhrise/364420#hl_5. Pretty sure Magnamalo plate = 怨虎竜の逆鱗.

Is April 20 confirmed?? Where’d u get the date
Player list provides all of their equipment information. But honestly that doesn't really matter mid hunt. Don't add DPS trackers. It gets really annoying hunting with someone thats just shouting out the damage numbers all hunt
