Exquisite Mushrooms are exclusively found from Mushroom Colony nodes in the Master Rank Shrine Ruins. If you're farming for this item, be sure to equip at least Geologist Lv. 2 and look out for an Upsurge of Local Items to maximize your harvest.

You can use your Palamute when you go on expeditions to farm certain items as you can use their Sniff 'em Out! ability to help you look for farming nodes!
| 1 |  Climb up the long ivy patch in Area 3. Once you've reached the top, look right for the first Mushroom Colony |
|---|---|
| 2 |  Head west until you find the second Mushroom Colony by the torii gate. |
| 3 |  Go through the gate and move straight to find the next node. |
| 4 |  The next Mushroom Colony should be very close to the previous gathering node. |
| 5 |  Head back to the torii and climb up to find the next Mushroom Colony. |
| 6 |  Look west where you should see the next node with some Spiribirds nearby. Use your Wirebugs to cross the gap and reach it. |
| 7 | Cross the gap then go around to reach the next Mushroom Colony. |
| 8 | Head to the gap between Areas 5 and 6 and use your Wirebugs to reach the lower platform to the left of the dog-shaped cliff. |
| 9 |  The next gathering node should be on the same platform. |
| 10 | The last Mushroom Colony should be right by a shrine on one of the cliffs in Area 2. Use your Wirebugs to reach it. |
