Yumemizuki Mizuki is a Standard Character and a good on-field driver for Swirl Comps roughly on the similar level as on-field Sucrose, but easier to use especially for casual play. She can also be seen as a safer option due to her ability to heal.
Her biggest caveat is that she cannot use her Normal Attacks when she is under her Elemental Skill state unlike Sucrose, which limits her possible party compositions as she cannot use characters like Xingqiu or Yelan who rely on Normal Attacks to proc their off-field abilities.
Her Constellations are among the best to have in comparison to her fellow Standard 5-star Characters as it makes her a better buffer, sustain, and damage dealer, which is a great investment everytime there is an anniversary or you lose the 50/50.
In terms of Support, Mizuki buffs your party's Elemental DMG at C2, and heals more consistently with C4. However, the need to pick up her Elemental Burst's snacks can be quite tedious especially if Mizuki is not the on-field driver.

Mizuki Ascension and Talent Materials
Strengths | |||
---|---|---|---|
• Easy-to-use on-field driver for Swirl comps who also sustains, and generally the best-in-slot for such comps at higher constellations in terms of DPS, especially as a Standard Character. • Relatively easier to build as she only needs Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge. • Team-wide buff that increases Swirl damage dealt to opponents, which can be great for dual-Anemo team comps. • Constellations are great to lose your 50/50 on. |
|||
Weaknesses | |||
• Cannot use Normal Attack while on her Elemental Skill, disallowing her to use characters who require Normal Attacks to proc their off-field attacks like Xingqiu and Yelan. • Elemental Burst halves its effects if the active character has more or less than 70% HP, and only gets fixed with C4. Her Elemental Burst heal is also single target. • Requires characters to run and pick up her Elemental Burst's Special Snack which can get tedious especially if Mizuki is not your on-field driver. |
Yumemizuki Mizuki functions as an Elemental Mastery-scaling Swirl-oriented DPS that benefits from having as much Elemental Mastery as possible in order to facilitate better Swirl damage.
She only needs two stats: Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge, making her incredibly simple to build for.

Yumemizuki Mizuki works best as a Swirl unit in most teams with stats catered for max Elemental Mastery as she boosts the team's overall damage by dealing her own and Swirling elements, and keeping the team topped up on HP.

Elemental Skill | Elemental Burst | Normal Attack |
Due to the auto-targeting potential of Mizuki's Elemental Skill and its Swirl DMG increase, we max this out first as it will likely make up a big bulk of her damage.
Afterwards, level her Elemental Burst as it increases the healing provided by her Burst. Her Normal Attack can be levelled up if you are frequently using Mizuki's Normal Attacks for Swirling when her Elemental Skill is on cooldown.
As a Swirl unit, Mizuki was made to use Viridescent Venerer as most of her kit is built around Swirl damage and Elemental Mastery-based healing.
However, Mizuki is also capable of using mix and match combos of 2-pc. Elemental Mastery sets to boost her raw Swirl potential, or even use Noblesse Oblige if no one else on the team is holding it.

List of Artifacts and Set Bonuses
Mizuki benefits the most from using weapons that provide Elemental Mastery bonuses as that directly impacts her damage and healing. Her Signature Weapon is perfect for this as it completely synergizes with her kit.
Otherwise, EM weapons such as A Thousand Floating Dreams and Sacrificial Fragments can work, as well as general Energy Recharge Weapons that give Mizuki more opportunities to use her healing.

Mizuki contributes her own personal Swirl damage and this boosts the overall damage of Freeze teams as Mizuki is able to deal Swirl damage to already Frozen enemies.
Mizuki also has the added benefit of being able to re-apply Freeze, thus keeping the battlefield relatively safe.

As Mizuki increases the Swirl DMG of all party members present, other Anemo units with Swirl capabilities like Kazuha and Sucrose are able to benefit off of Mizuki's On-Field time if their abilities are used before Mizuki takes the field.
This comes at the tradeoff of having less elements to swirl but is already effective enough in most scenarios where you only need to swirl one or two elements to have the Anemo units shred through opponents.

Mizuki's Constellations | |
---|---|
C1 |
In Mist-Like Waters When Yumemizuki Mizuki is in the Dreamdrifter state, she will continuously apply the "Twenty-Three Nights' Awaiting" effect to nearby opponents for 3s every 3.5s. When an opponent is affected by Anemo DMG-triggered Swirl reactions while the aforementioned effect is active, the effect will be canceled and this Swirl instance has its DMG against this opponent increased by 1,100% of Mizuki's Elemental Mastery. |
C2 |
Your Echo I Meet in Dreams When Yumemizuki Mizuki enters the Dreamdrifter state, every Elemental Mastery point she has will increase all nearby party members' Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro DMG Bonuses by 0.04% until the Dreamdrifter state ends. |
C3 |
Till Dawn's Moon Ends Night Increases the Level of Aisa Utamakura Pilgrimage by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C4 |
Buds Warm Lucid Springs Picking up a Yumemi Style Special Snack from the Elemental Burst Anraku Secret Spring Therapy will both deal DMG and heal, and will restore 5 Energy to Yumemizuki Mizuki. Energy can be restored this way 4 times per Anraku Secret Spring Therapy duration. |
C5 |
As Setting Moon Bring Year's End Increases the Level of Anraku Secret Spring Therapy by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C6 |
The Heart Lingers Long While Yumemizuki Mizuki is in the Dreamdrifter state, Swirl DMG dealt by nearby party members can score CRIT Hits, with CRIT Rate fixed at 30%, and CRIT DMG fixed at 100%. |
Rating | Constellation Effect / Merits | |
---|---|---|
C1 | ★★☆ | • Gives more personal damage to her Swirls, but only after every 3.5 seconds. |
C2 | ★★★ |
• Gives Elemental DMG Bonus for Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo based on Mizuki's Elemental Mastery while on her Elemental Skill. • Becomes a great all-rounder buffer for Swirl teams. |
C4 | ★★☆ |
• Removes the restriction of her Elemental Burst, which can now damage and heal an ally when they pick up her Special Snack. • Also gives Energy back to her. |
Mizuki becomes a great support DPS hybrid for Swirl comps and generally becomes better if not equal to on-field Sucrose if she gets her C2. C4 also removes the restriction on her Elemental Burst, and C6 makes her Swirls CRIT.
As Mizuki will be a Standard Character, you can get all of her constellations eventually either by losing your 50/50s, Chronicled Wish banners, or taking her from the Anniversary free 5-star character event!
Mizuki's kit is based around swirling elements on the field while applying AoE Anemo DMG to enemies at set intervals by just waltzing around with her Elemental Skill, making her a good candidate for teams that require an On-Field Anemo Driver.
Normal Attack: Pure Heart, Pure Dreams |
---|
Performs up to 3 attacks, dealing Anemo DMG.
Charge Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina and deals AoE Anemo DMG after a short casting time. Plunge Attack: Calling upon the power of Anemo, she plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Anemo DMG upon impact with the ground. |
Mizuki's Normal Attacks let her throw Anemo-based bolts towards nearby enemies, dealing Anemo DMG and causing a Swirl reaction if they were previously affected by a PHEC element.
Aisa Utamakura Pilgrimage |
---|
Weaves memories of lovely dreams, entering a Dreamdrifter state where Yumemizuki Mizuki floats above the ground, and dealing 1 instance of AoE Anemo DMG to nearby opponents. Dreamdrifter • While in the Dreamdrifter state, Yumemizuki Mizuki will continuously drift forward, dealing AoE Anemo DMG to nearby opponents at regular intervals. • During this time, Yumemizuki Mizuki can control her direction of drift, and the pick-up distance of Yumemi Style Special Snacks from the Elemental Burst Anraku Secret Spring Therapy will be increased. • Increases the Swirl DMG that nearby party members deal based on Yumemizuki Mizuki's Elemental Mastery. • Dreamdrifter will end when Mizuki leaves the field or uses her Elemental Skill again. |
When using Mizuki's Elemental Skill, she will fire off auto-targetting AoE Anemo DMG bolts to nearby enemies and subsequently damage and cause them to Swirl.
This is done without Mizuki having to do any other input besides the initial Elemental Skill cast and is her main bread-and-butter attack.
For the duration of her Elemental Skill, Mizuki hovers above the ground and can float around with increased movement speed.
Do note that she can get interrupted while she's on her Elemental Skill, which is a DPS loss for her and the entire team.
This Elemental Skill also increases the Swirl DMG done in general, which greatly benefits Mizuki and teammates with off-field abilities as that gives more damage without Mizuki having to do more.
Anraku Secret Spring Therapy |
---|
Summons forth countless lovely dreams and nightmares that pull in nearby objects and opponents, dealing AoE Anemo DMG and summoning a Mini Baku. Mini Baku: Follows the current active character. At regular intervals, the Mini Baku will create 1 Yumemi Style Special Snack nearby. After one of your own party members picks up a Special Snack, if their HP is higher than 70%, the Snack will explode and unleash a Munen Shockwave, dealing 1 instance of AoE Anemo DMG to nearby opponents. Otherwise, it will heal the character who picked it up based on Yumemizuki Mizuki's Elemental Mastery. When Yumemizuki Mizuki triggers healing by picking up a Yumemi Style Special Snack, the amount of healing is increased by 100%. If a Snack is not picked up after a period of time, it will explode and release a Munen Shockwave, dealing 1 instance of AoE Anemo DMG to surrounding opponents. |
Mizuki's Elemental Burst summons a Mini Baku that drops consumable objects called Yumemi Style Special Snacks on the field.
Touching these objects results in two effects that are based on your active character's current HP.
When characters are healthy enough, the consumable explodes on contact, dealing AoE Anemo DMG to enemies in an area. Leaving the Snacks on the field without touching them will also cause the Snacks to eventually explode.
This will mainly be used as a way to apply more Swirls in a short amount of time.
If the characters are low on HP, the Special Snacks will instead heal the active character's HP up to a certain threshold, in which it will resume its damage-oriented purpose instead.
Bright Moon's Restless Voice |
---|
When Yumemizuki Mizuki triggers Swirl while in her Dreamdrifter state, Dreamdrifter's duration increases by 2.5s. This effect can trigger once every 0.3s for a maximum of 2 times per Dreamdrifter state. |
One of Mizuki's talents seem to extend her Elemental Skill's duration based on whether or not her Elemental Skill strikes a target.
We will update this passive talent with more info once her kit is fully released.
Thoughts by Day Bring Dreams by Night |
---|
While Yumemizuki Mizuki is in the Dreamdrifter state, when other nearby party members hit opponents with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro attacks, her Elemental Mastery will increase by 100 for 4s. |
All Ailments Banished |
---|
When Yumemizuki Mizuki is in the party, party members have a chance to recover 30% additional HP when using healing foods that do not have reviving properties. The trigger chance for this effect increases with the corresponding character's Friendship Level. (This effect will always trigger if the Traveler is the character consuming healing food.) |
Mizuki carries a unique exploration talent that allows restorative food to heal party members for more.
This also uniquely scales on the party member's Friendship Level, with higher friendship leading to more heals and subsequently less food used.
