Pokemon That Learn Max Darkness

Max Darkness is usable by all Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon who know at least one Dark-type damaging move. That move will be replaced with Max Darkness while the Pokemon is Dynamaxed.

In the case of Gigantamax Pokemon, they may not be able to learn this move if their Dark-type damaging moves are instead replaced by their signature G-Max Move.

This Max Move has the secondary effect of lowering the opponent and it's ally's Special Defense by 1 Stage.

This Max Move has a small niche in special-oritend offensive teams as it can help ensure teammates net KOs with their unboosted moves.
