How to Find Max Mushrooms

The Second Trial: In Warm-Up Tunnel

The first Max Mushrooms are found as part of the Trials given by Dojo Master Mustard. In the second trial, the player will need to gather Max Mushrooms, which are found at Warm-Up Tunnel.
In order to get to Warm-Up Tunnel, you'll need to travel through the following areas: Soothing Wetlands → Forest of Focus → Training Lowlands → Warm-Up Tunnel.

After you complete the second trial, Max Mushrooms will start to appear in different areas around the Map. Max Mushrooms can appear in the Warm-Up Tunnel, Forest of Focus, Brawlers' Cave, and Courageous Cavern. Head to one of these areas and look around to try to find some!

Complete Raid Battles to Make Mushrooms Appear

After winning a Max Raid Battle, Max Mushrooms have a chance of appearing in one of the four areas they are found – the Warm-Up Tunnel, Forest of Focus, Brawlers' Cave, or the Courageous Cavern. The more Raid Battles you complete, the more Max Mushrooms will appear, so completing several raid battles and then walking around to find the mushrooms that spawned is the most efficient way.

Max Mushrooms are a unique item found only on the Isle of Armor which can be used to make Max Soup. Max Soup is a special brew which can unlock a Pokemon's potential to Gigantamax.

How to Make Max Soup

Rare and hard to find

To find Max Mushrooms, you'll need to participate in Raid Battles, but even after a Raid Battle, it's not a certainty that they will appear. Because they are a rare ingredient, be sure to choose the Pokemon you use the Max Soup on carefully!
