Pokemon That Learn Max Quake

Max Quake is usable by all Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon who know at least one Ground-type damaging move. That move will be replaced with Max Quake while the Pokemon is Dynamaxed.

In the case of Gigantamax Pokemon, they may not be able to learn this move if their Ground-type damaging moves are instead replaced by their signature G-Max Move.

Competitive Analysis

When used, Max Quake raises the user and your ally's Special Defense stat.

Ground-type Pokemon benefit the most in Max Quake, as it makes them more durable against common Ground-type counter moves like Solar Beam or Hydro Pump, which rely on Special Attack.
