Pokemon That Learn Max Airstream

Max Airstream is usable by all Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon who know at least one Flying-type damaging move. That move will be replaced with Max Airstream while the Pokemon is Dynamaxed.

In the case of Gigantamax Pokemon, they may not be able to learn this move if their Flying-type damaging moves are instead replaced by their signature G-Max Move.

Max Airstream Competitive Analysis

Pokemon Sword and Shield - Max Airstream.png
With the introduction of Dynamax and Max Moves, Flying-type Moves have increased in usage due to becoming Max Airstream during Dynamax.

This Max Move has the secondary effect of increasing the user and it's ally's Speed by 1 Stage, making it an invaluable utility move for offensive-oriented teams!

It's not uncommon for Physical sweepers, such as Cinderace and Urshifu to carry a Flying-type Move so that it can get a Speed boost from Max Airstream during Dynamax!
