What are Moves that Ignore Abilities

G-Max Hydrosnipe.png

These moves ignore all abilities that may affect the success or damage of a move. For example, G-Max Hydrosnipe will deal damage to its target even if it has Water Absorb or Storm Drain; two Abilities that benefit and take no damage from Water-type moves.

Snipe Shot Ignores Redirection

While Snipe Shot ignores abilities that redirect moves, it also does the same thing to moves that have the same effect. Meaning redirection moves like Follow Me and Rage Powder will be bypassed by Snipe Shot.
