Electric terrain powers up electric-type moves by 30%, and if a Pokemon is on the ground it will wake up and be unable to fall asleep.

Max Lightning | This is an Electric-type attack Dynamax Pokémon use. The user turns the ground into Electric Terrain for five turns. |
Grassy terrain powers up grass-type moves by 30%, and if a Pokemon is on the ground it will recover 1/16th of its maximum HP per turn.

Max Overgrowth | This is a Grass-type attack Dynamax Pokémon use. The user turns the ground into Grassy Terrain for five turns. |
Misty terrain affects Pokemon on the ground by not being affected by status conditions. If a Pokemon and its target is on the ground, dragon-type moves power are reduced by 50%.

Misty Terrain | This protects Pokemon on the gound from status conditions and halves damage from Dragon-type moves for five turns. |
Psychic terrain affects Pokemon moves with a Speed Priority of 1 or higher to be unable to use their moves.

Terrain stays on for five turns, but can be extended by using the following item:

Terrain Extender | An item to be held by a Pokémon. It extends the duration of the terrain caused by the holder's move or Ability. |
