Moves that Cause Electric Terrain

Electric Terrain.png
Electric terrain powers up electric-type moves by 30%, and if a Pokemon is on the ground it will wake up and be unable to fall asleep.

Move Type Effect
Electric Terrain Pokemon Electric Image The user electrifies the ground for five turns, powering up Electric-Type moves. Pokemon on the ground no longer fall asleep
Max Lightning Pokemon Electric Image This is an Electric-type attack Dynamax Pokémon use. The user turns the ground into Electric Terrain for five turns.

Moves that Cause Grassy Terrain

Grassy Terrain.png
Grassy terrain powers up grass-type moves by 30%, and if a Pokemon is on the ground it will recover 1/16th of its maximum HP per turn.

Move Type Effect
Grassy Terrain Pokemon Grass Image The user turns the ground to grass to five turns. This restores the HP of Pokemon on the ground a little every turn and powers up Grass-type moves
Max Overgrowth Pokemon Grass Image This is a Grass-type attack Dynamax Pokémon use. The user turns the ground into Grassy Terrain for five turns.

Moves that Cause Misty Terrain

Misty terrain affects Pokemon on the ground by not being affected by status conditions. If a Pokemon and its target is on the ground, dragon-type moves power are reduced by 50%.

Max Starfall Pokemon Fairy Image This is a Fairy-type attack Dynamax Pokémon use. The user turns the ground into Misty Terrain for five turns.
Misty Terrain Pokemon Fairy Image This protects Pokemon on the gound from status conditions and halves damage from Dragon-type moves for five turns.

Moves that Cause Psychic Terrain

Psychic terrain affects Pokemon moves with a Speed Priority of 1 or higher to be unable to use their moves.

Move Type Effect
Max Mindstorm Pokemon Psychic Image This is a Psychic-type attack Dynamax Pokémon use. The user turns the ground into Psychic Terrain for five turns.
Psychic Terrain Pokemon Psychic Image This protects Pokemon on the ground from priority moves and powers up Psychic-type moves for five turns.

Move that Removes Terrain

Move Type Effect
Steel Roller Pokemon Steel Image The user attacks while destroying the terrain. This move fails when the ground hasn't turned into a Terrain.

Item that Extends Terrain Duration

Terrain stays on for five turns, but can be extended by using the following item:

Terrain ExtenderTerrain Extender An item to be held by a Pokémon. It extends the duration of the terrain caused by the holder's move or Ability.
