Foul Play Competitive Analysis

Foul Play is a strong Dark-type move with its high 95 base power. This move is often used as a secondary STAB move for Dark-type Pokemon or as a coverage move for non-Dark Pokemon.

Foul Play uses the target's Attack stat as an indicator of how strong the damage is. Because of this, it is ideal to pair this move with Swagger in order to raise the target's Attack stat first.
