How to Evolve Every Pokemon

How to Evolve Inkay into Malamar

Upside down 1.jpg
In order for you to evolve Inkay into Malamar you must level up your Inkay to Level 30. When leveling up during a battle, or when you give Inkay an Exp. Candy, and while in handheld mode, turn your Nintendo Switch upside down to evolve your Inkay into a Malamar after the battle.

Take note that this will only work during handheld mode, and will not work when in docked mode.

Turn on the Gyroscope Setting

Make sure that the Gyroscope option is turned on in the Settings menu. Evolving Inkay into Malamar will only work when the Gyroscope Setting is turned on.

When to turn the Switch upside-down
