Max Starfall is usable by all Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon who know at least one Fairy-type damaging move. That move will be replaced with Max Starfall while the Pokemon is Dynamaxed.
In the case of Gigantamax Pokemon, they may not be able to learn this move if their Fairy-type damaging moves are instead replaced by their signature G-Max Move.
Pokemon Who Can Learn Max Starfall
Max Starfall has the secondary effect of turning the ground into Misty Terrain for five turns in which Pokemon cannot be affected by status conditions and grounded Dragon-type moves power are reduced by 50%.
This move can be useful against defensive or stall teams that rely on status conditions, or against Dragon-type teams in the current meta.
