Pokemon That Learn Max Flutterby

Max Flutterby is usable by all Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon who know at least one Bug-type damaging move. That move will be replaced with Max Flutterby while the Pokemon is Dynamaxed.

In the case of Gigantamax Pokemon, they may not be able to learn this move if their Bug-type damaging moves are instead replaced by their signature G-Max Move.

Competitive Analysis

Other than dealing damage, Max Flutterby also lowers the target's Special Attack by one stage. This can prove to be useful for defensive and stall teams that rely on debuffing opposing Pokemon.
