Trade with the boy in Turffield Gym

Meowth Trade.jpg
Regular Meowth (non-Galarian form) can be obtained by trading with the boy in Turffield Gym. You will need to trade him a Galarian Meowth, so be sure and catch one from Route 4 just before Turffield.

All Meowths born from an egg will be Galarian

Sending your regular Meowth to a Pokemon Day Care and yielding an egg will result in a Galarian Meowth offspring only. Keep in mind that the only Meowth capable of evolving into Persian is the one found in the gym!

Regular Meowth cannot be found in the wild

The only Meowth found in the wild is the Galarian form. If you are hunting down a regular Meowth, be advised that there is only one found in the game.

This article should be updated to inform readers that if you have the Kantonian Meowth hold an everstone while breeding it with any other compatible Meowth or Ditto, the offspring produced will be a Kantonian Meowth. This goes for any non-Galar/regional variant.
