It loves to collect shiny things. If it’s in a good mood, it might even let its Trainer have a look at its hoard of treasures. |
It washes its face regularly to keep the coin on its forehead spotless. It doesn’t get along with Galarian Meowth. |

Gigantamax Meowth was originally available exclusively to users who bought the game at an early date. Gigantamax Meowth was obtainable in the Mystery Gift section of the game, which can be unlocked when you progress in the early parts of the story.
Be advised that the free Meowth you can receive here does not evolve into a Persian!
How to Obtain the Gigantamax Meowth Mystery Gift
Regular Meowth (non-Galarian form) can be obtained by trading with the boy in Turffield Gym. You will need to trade him a Galarian Meowth, so be sure and catch one from Route 4 just before Turffield.
Sending your regular Meowth to a Pokemon Day Care and yielding an egg will result in a Galarian Meowth offspring only. Keep in mind that the only Meowth capable of evolving into Persian is the one found in the gym!
The only Meowth found in the wild is the Galarian form. If you are hunting down a regular Meowth, be advised that there is only one found in the game.
