Sucker Punch Competitive Analysis

Sucker Punch is a great priority move due to its high base power of 70. This move is often used as a secondary STAB for Dark-type Pokemon as it can catch opposing players off guard.

Note that Sucker Punch will fail if the target doesn't select a damaging move. This means that it doesn't matter if the target is in Truant or either Frozen or Asleep, as long as it chooses a damaging move, Sucker Punch will go through.
