Beat Up Competitive Analysis

Beat Up is a good utility move for Dark-types. This move uses the number of Pokemon in your party to calculate its damage. Meaning, this move is stronger with more Pokemon left in your party.

Note that Beat Up only works with Pokemon that haven't fainted yet. Additionally, this move gets STAB and uses the user's attack stat to calculate the damage meaning it gets stronger with moves like Swords Dance.

Often, Beat Up is used as a Justified activator.
