For the Children of the Past Quest Guide
Follow Arama into "Old Vanarana"
Explore the uncharted location of "Old Vanarana" with Arama. The area is highly dangerous due to the constant effects of The Withering, so you'll need to stay inside Arama's protective circle at all times to prevent the Decay debuff from accumulating!
Go to Search for the Inscriptions
You will need to find all three Inscriptions of Remembrance runes inside huts in Old Vanarana while being guided by Arama. Arama will lead you to all locations, so just stay inside its protective barrier while fending off the enemies on your way to these Inscriptions!

Go to the Seal with Arama
While still being guided by Arama, head deep into Old Vanarana inside a hole in the tree trunk. You'll encounter a barrier like the one above, but Arama will take care of it for you. Drop down the hole and continue forward to the sand room.
Try to Destroy the Tumor of the Withering
Once you're in the sand room, remember to open the Teleport Waypoint nearby for easy access! Defeat the Ruin Guard and go to the Tumor of the Withering.
This time, you'll find no Withering Branches in sight, so you won't be able to clear it. Instead, just wait for Paimon's dialogue to end, and Arama will destroy it for you! What a helpful companion Arama is!
Burn the Seven Stone Pillar Seals
Hit all green pillars with Pyro to burn the seals. You can find four of the seals in the main room, while the other three are locked behind a flower that can be opened with the Rhythm of the Beastly Trails.

| 6 |  Just ahead of the fifth seal, guarded by a Fungi. |
| 7 |  Remove the vines by activating the Dendrograna with Rhythm of the Sprouts. Afterwards, hit all floating green rings in sequence. The seventh seal is found after removing the vines. |
Defeat the Ruin Machine
When looking for a way down, you'll encounter this Ruin Grader in the sand. Attempt to defeat the Ruin Grader twice in a row, although you won't be able to destroy it. Again, your ever-helpful companion Arama will defeat it for you after a certain time!
Use the Candle of Light Braziers
As Arama will be stationed behind, you will need to take care of your Decay levels by yourself with the Dendro braziers. Because these protective areas will deactivate after a certain time, you must only light one brazier at a time.
Investigate the Area
After dropping down and talking to Arama, look for all glowing interactable objects in the underground area to advance the quest.

Leave Aramuhukunda's home
Return to Arama, then go out the newly revealed path. Go to the deepest part of the cave to complete the quest. Get ready, as you'll need to prepare for the next quest!
