How to Unlock the Vanarana Area for Cooking, the Flavor of Nature
The Vanarana Area is unlocked by playing through the Dream Nursery quest series. You can access the Vanarana area after completing the "World of Aranara" quest.
Where to Find Arapacati for Cooking, the Flavor of Nature
Arapacati is located southwest of the Statue of the Seven in Vanarana. It's easy to find him because he has a World Quest marker.
Cooking, the Flavor of Nature Quest Walkthrough
Objectives and Full Quest Walkthrough
- Look for a Rising Pillar of Smoke
- Use Dendro to Heal the Aranara
- Look for the Head Mushroom
- Neutralize the Withering Zone
- Return to Arachatora's Pot
How to Look for a Rising Pillar of Smoke
The Rising Pillar of smoke is located just south of Vanarana, near a Statue of the Seven. You can easily find the location by using the quest navigation system.
How to Use Dendro to Heal the Aranara
Equip a Dendro character and use a Dendro skill on the Aranara. This will heal the Aranara and start a cutscene.
How to Look for the Head Mushroom

Follow the quest markers until you reach a Cube Mechanism near two Ruin enemies and a Seelie. Use the Cube Mechanism to drain the water in a nearby cave. Once the water is drained, just keep following the quest markers until you reach the Head Mushroom.
How to Neutralize the Withering Zone and Pick the Head Mushroom
Summon Dendrograna and hit three Withering Zone branches to neutralize the Withering Zone. Make sure you have powerful characters equipped because this will summon waves of enemies!
When the Withering Zone has been neutralize, interact with the Head Mushroom again.
How to Return to Arachatora's Pot
Once you have the Head Mushroom, go back to where you found the Aranara, Arachatora, and talk to him to finish Cooking, the Flavor of Nature. This will activate three other quests:
