  3. Garcia's Paean: By Bearings
  4. Garcia's Paean: Easy Peasy
  5. Garcia's Paean: the Echo of Someone

Unlocking through commissions requirement

The requirement to do commissions to unlock quests are based on the history of previous world quests like Gourmet Supremos that also required commissions like these to unlock the succeeding ones. And so, it's up to luck for you to access this quest!

How to Unlock Sumeru Daily Commissions

Complete Garcia's Paean: Substitute at least three times

If you're stuck at Substitute, completing it at least three times will eventually unlock the third commission. It seems like you can offer either high or low quality inisgnias, and it will still register.

Answers in Garcia's Paean: Easy Peasy

During the 4th commission, the answers to Garcia's questions from the Ahangar the Blacksmith's directions are the following:

  1. When sending the parts in the furnace again, remember to add more fuel.
  2. Hammer it in the middle and work your way out to the edges.

Complete Garcia's Paean: the Echo of Someone

On the 5th commission, you are tasked again on offering high or low quality treasure hoarder insignias. You will need to complete the commission three times, then wait for the server reset on the next day to finally get the quest!

Talk to Garcia and Lutong in front of Puspa Cafe to start the quest.

Genshin - Talk to Garcia and Lutong with Ahangar the Blacksmith
Talk to Garcia once more in front of Ahangar, the Blacksmith.

Genshin - Head to the underground theatre
Head down the Grand Bazaar by going down the slope passing by the blacksmith.

Talk to Sheikh Zubayr who's standing on the stage.

Return to Ahangar and Garcia.

When choosing the ingredient for Candied Ajilenakh Nuts, the best material is ordered from least to most favored, with Sumeru Rose having the best response in comparison.

These choices have no real consequence to the quest going forward.

Today, I finally received the 5th quest for the third time. I'm crying with joy. While completing it, I think I earned all the daily quest achievements. BTW, you have to complete the 4th quest correctly 4 times for the 5th quest to appear.

Why am I back to Key Items? I finished Easy Peasy and got one commission where I have to give him the materials in Sumeru City again, where Ms. Kaia was also there. Now a bunch of days no Garcia daily, and now I have Key Items again? Can this happen? Or... did it reset entirely?
