Lighting up the campfire during the Into the Woods quest will trigger a cutscene, which then unlocks the The Lost Child quest.
Upon going north of the river, head inside a cave to look for Iotham. Go into the depths of the cave until some Fatui soldiers ambush you. Simply defeat the Fatui and head forward.
After exploring the tunnel, you will arrive at a large underground area. Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to instantly transport you to farther locations. Afterwards, drop down to the ground to the Withering Zone.
As always, obtain a Dendrograna on the southwest of the objective marker, then hit the three Withering Branches with Charged Attacks or Aimed Shots to clear it out. Afterwards, destroy the Tumor of the Withering to complete this task.
Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to transport you up the area, which prompts a cutscene between Rana and Iotham. Escort Iotham back to Vimara Village by teleporting to the nearest waypoint, then go to the area where Alphonso is.
Strange green traces | Rana's location outside the cave |
Once you go inside the caveo where Rana was, follow the strange traces that resemble green lines. Walk the path to where it continues until you go outside of the cave. You'll find Rana inside a big pineapple-like hut on the other side of the river.
This completes Aranyaka: Part I of the quest chain and leads to Dream Nursery!
The first missing children are Subadeh and Kavus. These are the answers to say to Alphonso when confronting him after completing the final Aranyaka quest.
This is a required task to do if you want to have a checkmark on your Forest Adventure Journal under Woodland Encounters!
Bad Guys Hiding in Vimara Village
This quest is the fourth sub-quest to complete the long Aranyaka quest chain, under Woodland Encounter. Help Rana and the people of Vimara Village to start the Aranara story in this questline!
