Into the Woods Quest Guide

How to Unlock Into the Woods

Exit north of Vimara Village after The Children of Vimara Village quest to start the Into the Woods quest.

Into the Woods Quest Walkthrough

Into the Woods Quest Objectives

1. Head west of Vimara Village
2. Clear the Withering Zone.
3. Continue clearing another Withering Zone.
4. Defeat the Spinocrocodiles in the river.
5. Go to camp.
6. Collect three Firewood.
7. Return to camp and light up the campfire.

Go to the Withering Zone that needs to be cleaned up

Follow the objective trail until it leads you to the first Withering Zone of the quest. Like before, obtain a Dendrograna and hit the three Withering Branches with a Charged Attack or Aimed Shot to clean it up. Afterwards, defeat all enemies that will appear, and destroy the Tumor of the Withering.

Clean up the second Withering Zone

Head further south to see yet another Withering Zone beside the river. This time the Withering Branches are pretty spaced out, and some Whriling Cryo Fungi will distract you. You can refer to the map guide above to see the locations of each objectives!

Defeat a certain number of Spinocrocodiles

Go south of the river and defeat 4 Spinocrocodiles with Rana. They aren't particularly strong, but keep an eye out of their attacks! Afterwards go west to Rana's camp.

Collect firewood (0/3)

Investigate the three locations in the quest objective area to collect three firewoods. These firewoods are in the middle of the river, underneath the Sunsettia tree, and beside the large ferns and trunks.

Afterwards, return to Rana and light up the campfire with any Pyro attacks. This will complete the quest and unlocks the next part of the chain, The Lost Child!
