A Short Encounter with a Rare Bird quest location
Location Between Caravan Ribat and Ruin of Daheri

The World Quest can be found near the southwest of Sumeru, in between Caravan Ribat and Ruin of Daheri.

Shoot a Shroomboar

Where to find Shroomboars
In order to trigger the start of the quest, you will need to hunt a Shroomboar within the area. A hunter will talk to you after attacking a Shroomboar, prompting the start of the quest!

Unlock the Vintage Lyre

Genshin Impact Gadget Vintage Lyre Sumeru Banner
You will need to use the Vintage Lyre to turn the area around Apam Woods from Rainy to Sunny.

Play the Rhythm of the Source Water

Varuna Contraption Location in Apam Woods

Dusk Birds are needed for this quest. The rain needs to be stopped for the birds to not fly away.

In order to stop the rain, you will need to unlock the Rhythm of the Source Water by completing A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land. The Varuna Contraption can be found a bit north of the Apam Woods.

Objectives
1 Where to find Shroomboars
Shoot a Shroomboar near the quest area.
2 A Short Encounter with a Rare Bird Part 2
Talk to the hunter who called you out.

Varuna Contraption Location in Apam Woods
You will need to change the weather by interacting with the Varuna Contraption in Apam Woods if it's raining.

A Short Encounter with a Rare Bird Part 3
Go to the marked location and hunt Dusk Birds with a bow. These are Blue and Orange birds that are sitting on logs and ruins. You can also use the Omni-Ubiquity Net to catch Dusk Birds.

Defeat the Emerites that spawn.

Talk to Shefket. He will point you to the next area.
