How to Unlock Old Notes and New Friends
Unlock by completing Golden Slumber
Enter Aaru Village after waiting for server reset
After completing the Golden Slumber quest chain in Khaj-Nisut, you must wait for server reset, then teleport to Aaru Village's Statue of the Seven to start the Old Notes and New Friends questline.

| 1 | Dual Evidence • Enter Aaru Village with Kalantari. • Talk to Soheil. • Go to Duat Hall. • Obtain full clearance on the stone slate. • Explore the Place of Rebirth ruins. • Explore the Place of Breath ruins. • Explore the Place of Swallowing ruins. • Head to the Great Hall of Truths. • Find a way to activate the giant device. • Continue forward. • Light the Primal Torches (0/3). • Defeat the "big guy with evil intentions". • Look for valuable items. • Return to Aaru Village and talk to Soheil. |

Old Notes and New Friends is the second archaeological world quest chain where you explore the pyramids in the desert area of Sumeru. Players will need to complete this questline to gain full clearance for your Scarlet Sand Slate gadget.
