Shroom-Kin are enemies found in the Sumeru region of Genshin Impact. In this guide, we'll talk about all the Shroom-Kin and Fungi enemies that appear in Sumeru!
List of Contents
Shroom-Kin are plants that have evolved to help increase and protect flora in Sumeru. Some evolved to the point where they become Fungi, creatures that come in different shapes and sizes.
When Pyro or Electro is applied to the Shroom-kin enemies, it becomes Scorched or Activated, respectively.
Activated and Scorched Shroom-kin are able to drop Dormant Fungal Nucleus, Inactivated Fungal Nucleus, and Robust Fungal Nucleus when defeated. The probability of getting the other drops also lower.
Regular Shroom-kin will only be able to drop Crystalline Cyst Dust, Fungal Spores, and Luminescent Pollen.
Certain types of Fungi were featured in the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy event in Version 3.2! During the event, players captured and trained several event Fungi and participated in the Nilotpala Cup Tournament.

Hydro Type Fungi, also known as a Floating Hydro Fungus, were the first Fungi type enemies encountered in-game. They were first released in The Chasm, but are now found in Sumeru, as well.
Different Types of Fungi and Mushroom enemies were introduced in Version 3.0, when Sumeru was released. These Shroom-kin can be found in groups of three or more all over Sumeru's Rainforest Area.
Other types of Fungi and Mushroom enemies were added in Version 3.1 in Sumeru's Desert Area.
Some Fungi have evolved so far as to have animalistic features. These Fungi are less protective and are more aggressive in nature, such as the Jadeplume Terrorshroom.
