How to Unlock the Irate Iron Chunk Quest

Quest Unlock Prerequisites

Complete the first Varuna Gatha quest to automatically unlock Irate Iron Chunk. It is one of the three required sub quests to progress Varuna Gatha, alongside Memory of Stone and Slumbering Roots.

Irate Iron Chunk Quest Objectives

1. Look for Arabalika in Ruins of Dahri.
2. Defeat all three Ruin Guards.
3. Activate the cube mechanism.
4. Find the "branch" in the underground cave.
5. Turn the three leaves towards the branch.
6. Defeat the Ruin Graders.
7. Talk to Arabalika.

Head to the Ruins of Dahri and Look for Arabalika

Start the quest by going to the entrance of Ruins of Dahri, below Caravan Ribat and west of Apam Woods. You can find Arabalika confronting a Ruin Guard.

Defeat the Ruin Guards

Follow Arabalika around Ruins of Dahri and defeat all three Ruin Guards.

	Where to Find all Ruin Guards
1	This Ruin Guard is the one confronting Arabalika earlier. Defeat it.
2	South of Ruins of Dahri, beside a brick wall.
3	West of Ruins of Dahri, at the end of the branch.

Find the mechanism and activate it

You can find the Cube Mechanism around the base of the tree in the center of Ruins of Dahri. Activating it will drain the water in the center, allowing you access to the underground cave.

Find the "branch" Arabalika

Drop down the hole and head to the base of the cave to find the "branch" in a room surrounded by inactivated Ruin Machines.

Make the three "leaves"turn towards the branch

	"Leaves" Locations
1	On the north side left of the inactivated Ruin Grader.
2	On the south side beside the inactivated Ruin Guard.
3	On the east side beside the inactivated Ruin Grader.

Defeat the Ruin Graders

To complete the quest, simply defeat the two activated Ruin Graders. Afterwards, talk to Arabalika to complete the quest!

This quest is a sub-quest to complete the long Aranyaka quest chain, under Varuna Gatha. You'll need to complete all quests to advance the Dream Nursery questline in Sumeru!
