How to Unlock An Artist Adrift

Progress through the Asipattravana Itihasa Quest

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Step 1

To unlock An Artist Adrift, progress through the Asipattravana Itihasa Quest and free Mihir the Pari.

After freeing the Pari, follow the floating green orb until it phases through the gray crystal on the wall. This will shatter the crystal, opening up a new path.

Enter the newly opened passage and talk to the man lying down on the floor inside the cave to start the World Quest.

Day 1

Step by Step Instructions

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Step 3
Head to the quest waypoint west of the starting point to trigger a cutscene.

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Step 4
Find and pick up Julien's luggage near the Samudra Coast.

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Step 5
Investigate the sand pile and use Anemo abilities to pick up Julien's Drawing Board. Defeat the enemies that will spawn.

Go back to the camp and talk to Julien to complete the World Quest.

Day 2

This part of the quest line can only be accessed after completing Day 1 and waiting for the next server reset.

At the quest waypoint, defeat a group of Hilichurls to save Julien. Speak with him to trigger a cutscene.

Follow the path to the east and interact with the highlighted objects until you come across a dog named Pepper.

Interact with Pepper for a quick cutscene. Behind him in a small cave is the sketch you are looking for.

Make your way back to camp and speak with Julien to complete the quest.

Day 3

This part of the quest line can only be accessed after completing Day 2 and waiting for the next server reset.

Head to the camp by the water in Samudra Coast and talk to Julien.

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Day 3 - Head to Vourukasha Oasis
Head to the Vourukasha Oasis by the Statue of the Seven, and walk towards a Time Trial challenge by the water until you trigger another cutscene.

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Day 3 - Complete the Time Trial Challenge
Talk to Julien to start a Time Trial Challenge. Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to get to the target within 300 seconds.

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Day 3 - Head down to the blue flower fields
After the next cutscene, head towards the field just ahead, where you have to purify the Sunyata Flowers with Sorush.

Genshin - An Artist Adrift Day 3 - Show Julien a Special Sight
Purify all the flowers from center outward, and show Julien a special sight. Then complete the cutscene with Julien to end the quest!
