All Lost Fragments are located in the Girdle of the Sands in Sumeru, and can be revealed using Sorush. Once you obtain one fragment, you can check your inventory for a Khvarena Inscription Fragment to keep track of many you already have!

The first lost monument fragment is located under the big pink tree in the Hills of Barsom. Use Sorush to reveal the Fragment hidden underneath.

The second fragment is right above a ledge nearby the elder, Zurvan, with whom you met in Vourukasha's Oasis.

The third lost fragment is floating above the roots and branches in Asipattravana Swamp, just before the big cavern.

The last fragment is at the peak of the tallest spike in Tunigi Hollow. You will have to climb the highest peak of the mountain from the right side to get to this location, as Sorush has a maximum altitude when flying!

To unlock Search for the Lost Monument Fragments, you must have finished investigating the Fatui Camps as intructed to you by Sosi. This automatically unlocks the World Quest in the Quest menu.
Investigate the Fatui Camps Marked by Sosi

To unlock Monumental Study, you need to progress through the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest "As the Khvarena's Light Shows". The quest giver, Sosi, should appear once you get to talk with Nasejuna.

Found this guide very useful after coming back to this area a couple of years later and mopping up quests that i never got around to at the time. A couple of small critiques. First, according to the note telling you where the pieces are, the locations of 1 and 2 are swapped. Second, I had a trail of Four-Leaf Sigils leading to the plateau that's directly under the last piece. Start at the teleporter north of the piece and look south at the small rock formation, and zip to the cliff above you.
