Competitive Analysis

G-Max Stun Shock is Gigantamax Toxtricity's signature move. This unique move has 50% chance to either poison or paralyze the target.

As whatever status effect will be inflicted is chosen by chance, there's no way to guarantee which one will occur. But don't fret! There are appropriate strategies fit for either status condition.

Hex and Venoshock

Toxtricity can learn both Hex and Venoshock which is useful on targets with status conditions.

Hex's power will be doubled if used on a target with any status condition. This works well on either outcome you'll get; whether your opponent becomes poisoned or paralyzed.

Venoshock will deal double damage only on poisoned targets. This strategy may depend on the 50% chance of getting your opponent poisoned, but it takes advantage of Toxtricity's Poison-typing and will deal STAB damage.
