Competitive Analysis

Zekrom

Bolt Strike is one of Zekrom's signature moves. The move is very powerful, but has relatively low accuracy and PP.

Bolt Strike vs Fusion Bolt

Bolt Strike compared to Zekrom's other signature move Fusion Bolt hits harder but has lower accuracy. However, it has a 20% chance to paralyze the target.

Fusion Bolt is weaker but is more consistent with its 100% accuracy, although it has no chance to paralyze the target.

It would hit harder if Fusion Flare was used previously, but that would only happen on the rarest of chances: if you're facing a slower Reshiram.
