Wild Charge is a physical Electric-type move that deals 1/4 of the damage done to the user.
This move is a great Electric-type move for bulky Pokemon that can manage to take the recoil damage caused by Wild Charge.
There are only a few Electric-type moves that are physical attacks. The commonly used ones besides Wild Charge are the weaker Thunder Punch and Thunder Fang, which are usually used as coverage moves by other types.
These moves may not hit as hard as Wild Charge, but they are safer as they do not deal recoil damage, and even has a chance to paralyze the target; something Wild Charge is not able to do.
Thunder Punch and Thunder Fang fits a safer playstyle, and are appropriate for offensive Pokemon which should have as much HP as possible at any given time in order to be able to dish out damage as turns go. Not much use for a knocked out Tapu Koko!
As for Wild Charge, the move is better used for bulky Pokemon with high HP and has options for recovery.
Wild Charge (TR86) is available to purchase from the Watt Traders in the Wild Area for 5000 Watts.
The Watt Traders' selection of TM and TRs changes everyday so make sure to check what's in stock!
It's also possible to get Wild Charge (TR86) from Electric-type Max Raid dens as a reward for defeating or catching the resident Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon.
It's also possible to get Wild Charge (TR86) from the Cram-o-Matic, although the chances are still low even when using the right items.
