Grass Knot Competitive Analysis

Grass Knot is one of the best coverage move in general. Often hitting the strongest legendary Pokemon, Grass Knot has found a home in previous generations due to it countering the likes of Groudon and Kyogre. This move hits harder the heavier the opponent is, making it a unique tech against certain Legendary Pokemon.

Note that this move will fail against a Dynamaxed Pokemon.
