Urshifu - Evolutions, Location, and Learnset | Isle of Armor DLC

Urshifu.jpg

This is a page on the Pokemon Urshifu, including its learnable moves and where it can be found in Pokemon Sword and Shield's the Isle of Armor DLC. Read on for information on its different formes, abilities, type advantages, and location.

Basic Information

Two Forms

Urshifu, when evolved from Kubfu, has two possible forms – the Single Strike Style, which has a Fighting and Dark typing, and the Rapid Strike Style, which has a Fighting and Water typing.

Kubfu will evolve into one of two forms, Single Strike Style or Rapid Strike Style, depending on the choices you make in the Isle of Armor DLC. The forms are not exclusive to any Pokemon version, which means you can get any form on either Pokemon Sword or Shield.

New Ability: Unseen Fist

Unseen Fist.jpg
Urshifu's Ability, Unseen Fist, allows it to bypass moves like Protect when it uses attacks which make direct contact.

Signature Moves

Single Strike Style: Wicked Blow

Wicked Blow.jpg
The signature move of Single Strike Style, Wicked Blow always deals a critical hit, allowing Urshifu to bypass its opponent's stat changes.

Rapid Strike Style: Surging Strikes

The signature move of Rapid Strike Style, Surging Strikes also deals critical hits without fail, and its damage is divided into three individual attacks.

How to Evolve Kubfu into Urshifu

Kubfu evolves into Urshifu when you complete one of the Towers of Two Fists. You will only be able to choose one of the towers to challenge, and when you and Kubfu clear the tower, Kubfu will evolve into either Urshifu's Single-Strike Style, if you complete the Tower of Darkness, or Urshifu's Rapid-Strike Style, if you complete the Tower of Waters.

How to Get Kubfu

Gigantamax Urshifu

Gigantamax Urshifu.png
Urshifu has two Gigantamax forms – one for each evolution style. The Single Strike Style Gigantamax is described as more aggressive in its fighting style, while the Rapid Strike Style is said to use a more composed and calmer technique.

Rapid Strike Style: G-Max Rapid Flow

Both of Gigantamax Urshifu's G-Max Moves are able to bypass protecting moves, even Max Guard, which even other G-Max Moves cannot pierce.
