Coaching Competitive Analysis

Coaching is one of the rare support Fighting-type move. This move boosts the ally's Attack and Defense by one stage. Most often this move is partnered with Bulk Up as the two gives a +2 boost in the same categories.

Note that Coaching bypasses Protecting Moves such as Crafty Shield. This means that you can use a protection move while your support Pokemon can use coaching at the same time.
