Dive Competitive Analysis

Dive is a good utlity move as it offers a semi-invulnerable turn for the user. The high 80 base power means this move can deal lethal damage with STAB as well.

Note however that Surf and Whirlpool will still deal damage on your semi-invulnerable turn. Similarly, Pokemon that have No Guard will also hit a Pokemon that used Dive.
