Counter Competitive Analysis

Counter allows your Pokemon to receive and deal twice the damage to the target. This move is often associated with Wobbuffet as it is the perfect Counter user due to its high defensive stats.

However, Counter still has its issues. One glaring weakness is that it doesn't lower the damage taken, meaning you can still faint after being hit by a strong physical move. We suggest running the likes of Detect or Protect instead.

Counter Locations

Counter can only be learned via Egg Move, Level Up, and by Default.
