Bulk Up Competitive Analysis

Bulk Up raises the user's Attack and Defense stat by one stage. This makes for a valuable set-up move for most Fighting-types who rely on physical attacks.

In addition to the value it offers, this move also turns into Max Guard. Max Guard is arguably the strongest protection move in the game, making Bulk Up a little more valuable.
