With a base power of 120, Close Combat is one of the strongest Fighting-type move available in the game. This move is often used as coverage by non-Fighting Pokemon as it can deal with common types such as Rock, Steel, and Dark.
The downside of this move is that it lowers the user's Defense and Special Defense by one stage each. This makes it so that you have to be careful when to use Close Combat.
Close Combat (TR53) is obtainable at Snowslide Slope
Snowslide Slope Map and Obtainable Pokemon
Close Combat is available to purchase from the Watt Traders in the Wild Area for 8000 Watts.
The Watt Traders' selection of TM and TRs changes everyday so make sure to check what's in stock!
It's also possible to get Close Combat from Fighting-type Max Raid dens as a reward for defeating or catching the resident Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon.
It's also possible to get Close Combat from the Cram-o-Matic, although the chances are still low even when using the right items.
