Obtaining Toxel.png

A Toxel can be received for free from a woman at the Nursery on Route 5. The player will receive the Toxel automatically upon talking to the woman, so it can be a good idea to save the game before talking to her. If you've saved your game in advance, you can reset to try again if you don't get a Toxel with a good Nature on your first try.

What Nature is Best for Toxel?

As Toxel relies more on Special moves than Physical Moves, we recommend the Modest nature, which lowers Attack and raises Special Attack.

The Modest Nature will cause Toxel to evolve into Toxtricity in the Low Key Form, so if you would prefer a Toxtricity in Amped Form, consider using a Mint to change an Amped Form Toxtricity's Nature to Modest.
