G-Max Stonesurge Competitive Analysis

G-Max Stonesurge is a great utility G-Max move as it is only one of two that sets entry hazards after use. Stonesurge sets Stealth Rock out on the field. Stealth Rock deals damage upon entry and its good to note that it follows Rock-type effectiveness, meaning they deal x2 damage to Fire-type Pokemon and so on.

These Stealth Rocks work the same way as the regular ones. Meaning, you can use Pokemon Who Can Learn Rapid Spin and Pokemon Who Can Learn Defog to clear your side of the field.
