Water Spout Competitive Analysis

Water Spout is one of the strongest Water-type moves in the game. This move allows you to potentially knock out both of your foes as it hits adjacent Pokemon. Water Spout's damage is equal to the user's remaining HP, meaning you want to use this as early as possible.

Competitively, this move is often used by Kyogre. Kyogre utilizes this move well as it brings forth Rain which itself further boosts Water Spout's damage on top of STAB.
