Surf Competitive Analysis

Surf is a strong move that has been a staple in competitive play. This move offers great power in addition to 100 accuracy as well as the ability to hit both foes. For this reason, Surf is a bit more valuable in Doubles.

Muddy Water vs Surf

Surf and Muddy Water are quite similar as moves. The major difference is Muddy Water offers more utility with its secondary effect. Surf on the other hand has a 100 accuracy compared to Muddy Water's 85.

This choice comes down to preference. Muddy Water is better if you value utility, while Surf offers more accuracy.
